Brittany's the kind that you untie from the railroad track
Then she doubts your motives and you're strapped to her torture rack
And that's a fact
With the skill of Pontius Pilate's antiseptic hands
She's practiced in the art of using sacrificial lambs
To play a small vital part in her ingenious master plans
She said to me, "Now can't you see, we're meant to be"
That's Brittany
Brittany's a project doomed to fail measured out in years
You think you want to quit and you're hit with the crocodile tears
Her hopes and fears
Suddenly, you're a savior, a fate you can't avoid
An element of danger, it's all so paranoid
Until this elegant young stranger pulls you into the void
And Heaven knows, I do suppose
I should disclose, here's how it goes
I stumbled on her quite by accident, or so it seems
Humbled that I might help her repent, I felt redeemed
One has to grant compassion to a battered soul in need
And as you can imagine, she flattered me, indeed
She was hot but kind of weird then things got really strange
But things were not as they appeared 'cause some things never change
Devotion's so important to her but she slowly turned
My emotional support into a bitter lesson learned
Insinuation, implications, silly nuance when you handle
Innuendo, accusations, really who wants all the scandal
Then I had an inspiration, a quest to leave her be
But feminine persuasion always got the best of me, you see that
Some pack for a journey of the heart then act surprised
To come back on a gurney, is it smart or ill-advised
To play the funky hero and pray just like a saint
When one and one is zero, well it all comes down to
No grounds for complaint
What delicious irony, what sweet, exquisite pain
She knows that you are able, leans on you like a cane
But then the truth becomes a fable beneath her awful reign
It's plain to see it's up to me, I can't break free
